SLC is working more and more with schools who want to expand their online training skills and their ability to deliver high quality OET preparation programmes. Sometimes both!
We work with closed groups of teachers, which enables us to tailor programmes to the specific needs of an organisation. We start with a core programme which is then adapted following a detailed needs analysis process.
We do this because no two teaching organisations are alike. They offer different courses, have teachers with differing levels of experience, and are looking to get quite different outcomes from the training. It’s vital we understand these so we can deliver a training programme that meets everyone’s expectations.
In the last two months, we have focused very much on training teachers how to teach using Zoom and on how to prepare healthcare professionals for the OET test. Recent clients have included private English language schools and school chains in Ireland, Spain and Poland, as well as one of the UK’s most prestigious private schools who moved their classes onto Zoom as soon as the lockdown was announced.
