After months of preparation and Covid-caused delays, we’re delighted to have started the delivery of online OET preparation courses on behalf of Health Education England and OET and in partnership with InSync in Chennai.
The programme gives groups of nurses targeted tuition so they can achieve the scores required by the Nursing and Midwifery Council and work in the UK. The original programme was going to be given face-to-face in InSync’s training centre with online support – masterclasses and materials – from SLC. However, as training centres have been closed for months and the situation regarding face-to-face training remains unstable, delivery is now 100% online.
InSync are delivering the majority of lessons focusing on the language and techniques required to achieve a high score in each paper. SLC are providing weekly masterclasses on writing and grammar, along with materials, including Reach OET B Nursing, and ongoing academic and management support.
Lessons and masterclasses are given twice per day, so giving students flexibility on when to join, enabling them to study around what can be quite challenging shift patterns. As the programme is now online, the geographical scope as widened. We have students attending from different parts of India, Saudi Arabia and the UK.
We’re delighted to be working with Shane, Sherie and the team at InSync. They were one of the first accredited OET Premium Preparation Providers in India and widely known for their high academic standards. We have been hugely impressed with the preparatory work done on the programme and are looking forward to making the courses a tremendous success with high pass rates.
