Has the NHS stopped recruiting nurses?
No! The NHS hasn't stopped recruiting nurses. If you're being recruited for an NHS role, there won't be any changes to your current offer. If you are looking for a role in the NHS there are still amazing opportunities available.
If you're concerned or have specific questions about your situation, it might be helpful to reach out to the NHS employer or framework recruitment company you are working with to put your mind at rest.
The NHS still has a massive shortage of nurses and international recruitment will remain a big part of the long-term plan. Please be careful and do not be misled by scams and organisations giving false statements on this topic.
Can I still bring my family?
Yes! There are no modifications to the policy regarding dependents for NHS staff. Eligible dependents, including your spouse, civil partner, unmarried partner, children under 18 (including those born in the UK during your stay), and children over 18 currently in the UK as your dependents, can still accompany you.
